C. 9 25210.145 25210.15 , 25210.16) NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. RD-2, BETHEL ISLAND The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, on its own motion after receiving requests from the owner of the territory, intends to commence proceedings for the formation of 'a County Service Area. Pursuantto Govern- ment Code Section 25210.13, approval of the Local Agency Formation Commission was sought- before proceedings were instituted. On August '6, 1969, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the formation of proposed County Service Area No. RD-2. Therefore, this Beard proposes that a County Service Areabe established pursuant to Chapter 2.2 (commencing with '§,25210.1) of Part 2 of Division 2 of Title 3 of the Government Cade of the State of California in the unincorporated area of Contra Costa County. The exterior boundaries of the territory proposed for inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein. The name proposed for the area is "County, Service _Area No. RD-2. " The following type of extended county service is proposed to be provided within the area: road maintenance service . Except where funds are otherwise available from service charges collected pursuant to Sectio 2521€ -77a, a' tax sufficient to pay for all such services which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon all taxable property within such area. At 10:O0 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 1969, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, this Board will conduct a public hearing upon the proposed establishment of County Service Area No. RD-2. At the hearing, the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayers for or against the proposed establishment of County Service Area RD-2, the extent of the area,, or the furnishing: of the specified type of extended services will be heard.
