HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011969 - 69-630 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTACOUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of ;faking Amended ) RESOLUTION NO. 69/630 Assessments' for Division of Parcels In Assessment District No. 1964-3. ) (S.&H.C . 8530, 8531, (Amador Valley Water District) ) 8731, 8732 and 8733) NOTICE OF MAKING OF AMENDED ASSESSMENTS IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1964-3 (Parcels 4 , 31B, 32B, 344--2, 34K-2 & 34H-1) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County 'RESOLVES THAT: Resolution of Intention No. 3094 , adopted by this .Board on June 16, 1964 , provided for the establishment of Assessment District No. 1964-3, Amador Valley. Pursuant to Resolution No. 3094 an assessment and diagram were made and filed with the County Clerk and said assessment was confirmed by this Board on December 22 , 1964 , and recorded in the office, of the Public Works Director of this Counter . Certain Lots or parcels of land in Assessment District Nei. 1964-3 upon which there are unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under the Improvement Band Act of 1915, have been .divided so that they no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shorn on said assessment. The Public Works Director has prepared and filed with the County Clerk a report and amended assessment and diagram of the lots and parcels so divided, said parcels being; designated Assessment Numbers 4A, 4B, 4C, 31B-1, 31B-2, 32B--1., 32B-2, 34j--2A, 34J-2B, 34X-2A, 34K-2B, 34'11-IA and 34H--lB. The report and amended assessment provides that the unpaid installments of said original assessments' shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the benefit's of the several parts of each original lot or parcel; and the total amount of the assessment of the several portions of each original lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessments upon said original lot or parcel of land, plus the casts and fees for making the amended assessment diagram as has been determined by the Board. The costa and fees have been apportioned by the Public Works Director to the respective parcels in proportion to the amount of the divided' assessments against the parcels . Further, the Public Works Director has 'notified the owner of the original parcel assessed, as the name of the owner appears on the last equalized ' roll for tapes, or was known to the Public; Vorks Director, of the orderofthe Board fixing the costs and fees of the apportionment , and directing that the payment thereof be made to the Public `,forks Director within 15' days of said notification. More than 1.5 dais have passed since the notification, and the Public Works Director has not been paid the amount of the costs and fees of the proposed apportionment. At 10: 30 a.m. on Tuesday , October 28, 1969, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, County Administration Building, Martinez,: California, the Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing -1- RESOLUTION NO. 69/630 upon the report and amended assessment and shall confirm or modify the same. At the hearing all personsinterested in the original assessment,, or in the sands affected thereby or in the bonds secured thereby, may appear and protest against the amended assess- ment . ssess,ment The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to give notice of said amended assessments ' by publishing this notice trice in "The Valley Pioneer" .. a newspaper' of general circulation published and circulated in this County.
