RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON
A PORTION OF A STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT, LOT 2,
SUBDIVISION 3727, GREED VALLEY ROAD,
ROAD NO 43318, ALAMO AREA
The Board of Supervisors of Centra Costa County RESOLVES 'THAT:
Pursuant to Government Code Sections 50430 et seq. ,
(Vacations of Easements ) , this Board declares its intention to
abandon the hereinafter described drainage easement .
At 10 a.m. , on Tuesday, November 18, 1969, in the
Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Administration Building,
Martinez, California, this Board will conduct a public hearing
on the proposed abandonment . At this hearing any interested
party may offer evidence as to whether said drainage easement
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
This matter is referred to the Planning Commission for
report prior to the hearing.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to publish
notice of this matter in the "Valley Pioneer" a newspaper of
general circulation published in this County and which is desig-
nated as the newspaper most likely to give notice to persons
:interested in the proposed abandonment . The notice will be
published for at least two successive weeks prior to said hearing
and will be posted conspicuously along the line of said easement
at least two weeks prior to the hearing.
The description of the portion of the drainage easement
proposed to be abandoned is as follows :
"Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 2, as said
lot is shown on the map of "Subdivision 3727, County of
Contra Costa, State of California", filed 17 August 1966
in Book 127 of Maps , page 27, in the office of the County
Recorder of Centra Costa County; thence south 740 27' 31"
east 60.53 feet along the most southerly lot line of the
aforementioned lot to a point whish lies north 740 27 ' 31."
west 76.00 feet from the most southerly corner of said lot ;
thence north 240 59 ' 36" east 27.64 feet to a point of
cusp; thence southerly and westerly along the are of a
curve to the left with a radius of 20 .00 feet., an arc
distance of 26.64 feet through a central, angle of 760 1.8 ' 14"

to a point which bears south 15° 32' 29" west from the
center °of said curve; thence north 74° 27 ' 31" east 45.73
feet; thence southwesterly along the arc of a tangent
curve to the left with a radius of 780 .08 feet an arc
distance of 12.00 feet to the true point of beginning
which bears north 750 20 ' 2411 west from the center of
said curve . Containing .018 acres more or less. "
