The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa. RESOLVE'S THAT:
It intends to buy for and on behalf of County Service Area LIB-8
from the Orinda Fire Protection District for recreational purposes the
real property described in Exhibit A attached hereto for Sixty-three
Thousand Dollars ($63,000.00) which is a fair and reasonable price
therefor.
The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Orinda Fire Protection
District on June 12, 1969, recommended and approved the proposed
sale of the said real property (Station #t1.) to the County (Service
Area LIB-S) for the total sum of $63,000.00 with at Least $50,000.00
of said sum to be paid at the time the purchase is consummated and
the balance of $13,OOO.00 by January 1, 1970. Station #1 is located
at 20 Avenida de 'Orinda, Orinda, California.
The Board will meet on Tuesday, September 23, 1969, at 10 a.m.
in the Boardts Chambers , Administration Building, Martinez, California,
to consummate this purchase from the Orinda Fire Protection District
and the Clerk of this Board is directed to publish the following
notice in the ORINDA SUN, pursuant to Government Code Section 6063 :
NOTICE OF INTENTION
TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Beard of Supervisors of Contra Costa County for and on
behalf of County Service Area LIB--8 declares its intention to
urchase from the Orinda Fire Protection District at a price of
63,000-00, the real property consisting of the old Orind.a Fire
Station located ' at No. 20 Avenida de Orinda, Ori.nd:a, California,
and approximately 15,000 square feet of land, shown on Contra
Costa. County Assessor 's Map in Booty 265, Page 01., as Parcel
No. 07, and as more particularly described in Resolution No. 69/541
of the Board, and will meet at 10 a.m. on. September 23, 1969, to
consummate the purchase.

California, described as follows :
Portion of Lots 9 and 10, all of Lots 11 to 15, and portion
of Lot 16, Official Map of Orinda Townsite, filed March 21-5, 1928,
Official Map Book 1, page 21, and portion of Lots 7 and 8,map
showing Boundaries and Subdivisions of Orinda Park Tract and Oak
View Ranch, filed May 8, 1882, Map Book F, page 143, Contra Costa
County records, described as follows :
Beginning at the most southerly corner of the 4575 square feet
parcel of land described in Resolution No. 2473, recorded February
18, 1964, Book 4555, Official Records, page 529; thence from said
point of beginning along the southwest line of said parcel, North
220 03. 05" West, X9.83 feet and forth 190 341 21" weit, 43.44 feet
to the most southerly corner of the parcel of land described in the
deed to Leon R. Woolsey, recorded: June 10, 1959, Book 3389, Official
Records, page 491; thence North 36" 8' 19" East, along the south-

"Reserving and excepting to the Grantor, and to its successors
or assigns, fromthe operation of this deed, an undivided one-half
(1/2) interest in and to all minerals, oil, other hydro-carbons,
gas and all associated substances existing in or on said real pro-
perty herein conveyed and hereinabove described, together with the
right to explore drill for, extract, take from, remove and dispose
of one- alf {1/2� of any or all said minerals, oil., other hydro-
carbons, gas and all associated substances from said real property,
below a depth of five hundred 0) feet from the surface thereof,
by wells, equipment and means located on the surface of adjacent
land and extended into said real property herein conveyed and
hereinabove described at a point or paints below a depth of five
hundred (5O0) feet from the surface of said real property.

thereof; and an easement for highway slopes and drainage purposes
