WHEREAS,$ it appears from the records of this Board, that the Contra
Costs County Building Inspector acting as the "Enforcement Agency" pursuant to
the provisions of Sections 17014 at seq., of Title VIII of the California Admin.

human habitation or occupancy, in the manner provided by law as appears more
particularly from the declaration of the Building Inspector on file herein; and

WHEREAS, the said building/ not been repaired or removed as re-
quired by said Notice to Abate Nuisance, and
WHEREAS, said. Building Inspector thereafter pasted said property with

ing before this Board for the owners of said property to show cause why the

building thereon should not be eondemned as a public nuisance, and the Build-

WHFJMS, the matter having come on for hearing by this Board on

WHYS, the owner of said property having appeared and having
quested ad opal time within which to correct deficiencies of said
building and to aba a nuisance thereof, and the Boar wing considered

quested additional time n which to correct deficien s of the said build-
ing and to abate a nuisance thereof, and the 'Board having cons ed the
matter continued the hearing to Tuesday " ,
WHF:ItUS, the Board having considered the evidence presented by said
Building Inspector and all other interested parties, the following appears and
this Board now finds that said building is unfit for human habitation or oc-
cupancy by reason of the following deficiencies which are hereby found to
exist' 1. Lack of grater closet, lavatory and bathing facilities.
2. Lack of proper and sanitary kitchen sink,
3. Lackof hot and cold ,cater to pIvabing fixtures.
4. Lack of adequate heating facilities.
5. Lack of required electrics lighting.
6. Lack of required amounts of light and ventilation.
7. Dampness of habitable rooms.
8. General dilapidation and lack of maintenance.
9. Defective or deteriorated flooring.
10. Lack of handrail on stairway.
11. Rotted and leaning "lid wood fences.
1.2. Insufficient waterproofing of exterior galls and roof,
including broken windows and doors.
13. Broken, rotted, split and buckled exterior van and roof covering*.
14. The structs are vacant and are an attractive nuisance.
15. Fire hazard created by storage of large quantities of combustible
materials.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that said building in unfit for human habita-
tion or occupancy and in declared to be a public nuisance and the owners there-
of are hereby ordered to abate said nuisance within 30 days after a copy of
this Resolution along with Notice thereof has been posted to said property.
BE IT FURTH& RESOLVED that it is the conclusion of this Board that
said building cannot be reconstructed or repaired in a manner so as to comply
with the provisions of Article 8 Chapter 9 of Title VIII of the California
Administrative Code or the Contra Costa County Ordinance Code and therefore
said building must be razed or removed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the notice posted to said property shall
specify that if said nuisance is not abated within the time allowed,, said
nuisance will be abated by the Building Inspector of this County., and the ex-
pense thereof made a lien upon the land upon which said building (s) are
located.

filed on the 19th day of September, 1911 in Volune 5 of maps at page
124 in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Contra Costa
State of California.
Part Being the south thirty (30) feet of Lots 5, b and 7 in
El*;* 59, as designated on the map entitled "Map of North Richmond
land and Ferry Co., Tract 2", which map was filed in the office of the
Recorder of the County of Contra. Costa, State of California, on
September 19, 1911 in Volune 5 of Maps, at page 1.24.
