BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Contra Costa , State of California, that it is
the intention of said Board of Supervisors to order the follow-
ing improverlents and acquisitions to be made in Assessment District
No. 1969-1 , RoundTiil.1 Road , Contra Costa County , California ,
to grit
The construction of curbs , gutters , street pavement ,
storm drainage facilities , a system of dorfestic tinter
supply, underground system of electric distribution
and telephone communication facilities ; street light-
ing facilities , and all appurtenances ;
Also the acquisition of all necessary interests in
real property.
The real property to be acquired consists of the following :
Parcel A - Right-of-way for Roundhill Road
For street. purposes, the following described parcel.:
Portion of Fart-2, Lot A and a portion of Lot "D" and "'C", as shown
on the map of Division Survey of the A. W. Stone Ranch, filed March 9, 1892 .in
Book F of Maps, page 141, in the office of the County Recorder of Contra Costa
County, described as follows:

A strip of land. 60 feet wide, lying 30 feet on each side of the
follviring described center line:
Commencing at the intersection of the southern line of the land
described in the deed to William L. Graves, et ux, dated ;March 17, 1950,recorded
May 5, 1950, in Book 1551 of Official Records, page 192, with the centerline
of Miranda Avenue, 40 fteet wide; thence along the centerline of said Avenue
south 31° 12'4 15" west, 310.77 feet to the true point of beginning of the
centerline of a 60 foot wide strip; thence from the true point of beginning
(designated as point "V), south 58' 47, 45" east, at right angles to said
Miranda Avenue centerline, 110.93 feet to a tangent curve to the right with a

An easement, for purposes of entering and constructing a drainage culvert
with wingwalls and related appurtenances as follows:
A strip of land 50 feet on each side of the 60 foot wide strip of land
described in Parcel. A, lying between point "Y" and 100 feet northwesterly along
said 60 foot strip centerline from point "Y".

Portion of Lot "C" as said lot is designated on the reap entitled
"Map of Division Survey of the A.. W. Stone Ranch", which crap was filed in the
office of the Recorder of theCounty of Contra Costa, State of California, on
March 9, 1892, in Volume r of haps, at page 141, described as follows:

west line of said lot, south 29° 23' 54" west 240.63 feet to the centerline '
of Roundhill Road, as shown on said map, from wnich point the center of a curve
with a radius of 400.00 feet lies north 38° 11' 32" east; thence westerly and
northerly along said curve 128.89 feet to a point from which the center of said
400 foot curve lies north 56° 39' 17" east; thence along said radial south 56°
39' l7" west 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning of this description, being

north 330 22' 10" west 26.00 feet to. a point.on the north. line of Ga.rydale Road,
being. tangent to said 45 foot radius curve; thence along said curve westerly,
southerly, easterly and northerly.188.84 feet to a point bearing north 86° 11' 261,
east from. the center of said cul-de-sac; being a point on a reverse curve with
a radius of 30.00 feet and center bearing north 86° 11' 26" east; thence

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said improvements be con-
strutted in said streets , avenues , roads , lanes , Courts , places
and/or public ways hereinabove described and in the particular
locations set forth and shown on the plan hereafter referred to ,
together with the construction of all appurtenances thereto , includ-
ing necessary fittings , trenchings , grading and regrading , excava-
tion and fill , removal of obstructions , connections to existing
services , back filling , reconstruction of existing ground sur-
face as required to conditions existing; prior to commencement
of construction, all in the particular locations as the same are
shown on the plan hereafter referred to-.
That the location of work to be constructed pursuant to
this Resolution of Intention is shown upon the plan which has
been filed in the office of the County Clerk of the County of
Contra Costa on the 22nd day of April , 1969 ,. and is entitled ,
„General Plan of Improvements , Assessment District No . 1.969-1 ,
County of Contra Costa, State of California ," and said plan is
referred to for the specific location of the works and structures
to be constructed.
That the structures and work and improvements herein de-
scribed are to be constructed to the grades shown upon the General.
Plan of Improvements on file in the office of the County Clerk of
the County of Contra Costa.
All of said work will be done to said lines and. grades.
All of said work shall include , without duplication , any
and all streets , intersections , terminations and opposite

terminations occurring within the limitations of said. work.
The attention of all persons is directed to the fact that
all of said classes of work above described may not he constructed
upon all of the streets and/or .public ways above described in
their entirety, but only upon the particular locations as shown
on the plan hereinabove referred to , to which the attention of
all persons is directed for a description of the work, location
of the several classes of work , a description of the classes of
work to be done upon each of the several public streets or rights -
of-way named ,named, a description of the streets and rights -of- way ,
and for all ether information contained in the said plan herein-
above referred to pertinent to the doing an.d completion of -the
work and improvements herein proposed,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Contra Costa hereby makes the expenses and costs
of said improvements and acquisitions chargeable upon a district ,
which said district said Board of Supervisors hereby declares
the district benefited by the improvements and acquisitions herein
described, said district shall include that territory in the
County of Centra Costa, State of California , which is shown on
that certain: map on file in the office of the County Clerk of
the County of Contra. Costa , and which is entitled and described ,
"Proposed boundaries of Assessment District No . 1969-1 , Roundhill
Road , Contra Costa County , California ," and which said map indi-
cates by a boundary line the extent of the territory included

in the proposed district and covers all details as to the extent
of the area to be assessed ; said map is , by this reference , incor-
porated herein and made a part hereof.
Excepting from the area shown and delineated on said map
hereinabove referred to , the area of all public streets , avenues ,
lanes , roads , drives , courts , places , public parks , and all ease -
ments and rights-of-way therein contained belonging to the public ,
and also excepting from the area sholo:n and delineated on said
map all property owned by the United States of America , the State
of California , the County of Contra Costa. , and any other public
agent mandatory of the Government, school board , educational ,
penal or reform institution or institution for the feeble-minded
or the insane which is in use in the pe-rformance of a public func-
tion , and also specifically excepting therefrom any property belong-
ing to the United States of. America or the State of California ,
whether in use in the performance of a public function or other-
wise .
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that serial bonds to represent
unpaid assessments , and bearing interest at the rate of not to
exceed.. seven per cent (7a) per annum, shall be issued herein in
the manner provided in Division 10 of the Streets and highways
Code , the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 , the last installment of
which shall mature fourteen (14) years from the 2nd day of July
next succeeding ten (10) months from their date .
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the owners of more than

sixty per cent (60%) of the area of property within the above
described district to be assessed to pay for the cost and expenses
of said work have petitioned this Board of Supervisors for the
doing and performance of said work and therefore the Special Assess-
ment Investigation,, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931
does not apply to these proceedings .
Proceedings for all work shall be taken pursuant to the
Improvement Act of 1311 , and the bonds hereinabove described shall
be issued under the provisions of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915
as heretofore described.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 13th day of
May, 1969 , at the hour of 11 :00 o'clock A<M< of said clay , at
the meeting place of the hoard of Supervisors of the County of
Contra Costa , located in the Contra Costa County Administration
Building , Martinez , California , any and all persons having; any
objection to the proposed improvements and acquisition.-, , or any
objections to the grades to which said work is proposed to be
done , or to the boundaries of the district proposed to be assessed
to pay the cost and expenses thereof, may appear before said board
of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa and show cause why
said improvements and acquisitions should not be carried out in
accordance with this Resolution of Intention , and may present
written protest , not later than the hour hereinabove set for hear-
ing , against the doing of said work , the grades to which said
work is to be done , or the extent of the territory to be assessed

to pay the cost and expenses thereof;
The County Clerk of the County of Contra Costa shall cause
this Resolution of Intention to be published twice in THE 'VALLEY
PIONEER, a newspaper of general circulation , circulated in the
County of Contra. Costa, which said newspaper is hereby designated
as the newspaper in which shall be printed and published all notices ,
resolutions , orders and other matters required to be published
in the proceedings taken pursuant to this Resolution of Inten-
tion and under the provisions of said. Improvement Act of 1911 ,
and amendments thereto ; the first publication of said notice shall
be not less than ten (10) days prior to the date herein fixed
for hearing on this Resolution of Intention ;
The Engineer of Work shall cause to be conspicuously posted
along the lime of said contemplated work and improvement , and
on all the open streets within the assessment district , notice
of the passage of this Resolution of Intention in the time , form
and manner required by law.
The County Clerk of the County of t'ontra Costa is hereby
directed to mail a copy of this Resolution of Intention , postage
prepaid , to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed ,
those names and addresses appear on the last equalized assess-
ment roll or as known to said County Clerk , said mailing to
be at Least fifteen clays prior to the day herein fixed for hear-
ing on this Resolution of Intention , all in the time , form and
manner prescribed in said Improvement Act of 1911 , as amended.

of said improvements and acquisitions is the sum of $286 ,818. 27.
I HEREBY CE'R'TIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Contra Costa , State of California , at a regular meeting
thereof, held on the 22nd day of April , 1969 , by the following
vote, to wit
