The Board of Supervisors of'' Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT
Dissolution of the Lafayette PIire Protection District , whfoh
is located in Contra Costa Crunty, h been proposed by the Board

on February 10 1969. The reasons for, the proposed are
that the territory of said Lafa ette Fire Fr*atectlan District has
been araneXed to the Contra Costa Co pty Fir=e Protection District,
that in the immediate past there has been a nonuse of eoror ate
powers by the .Lafayette; Fire �'retect!iQn District , that there is
a 'reasonable; vrobab!ility that such nonuse mar continue and that
the Lafayette Fire 'Prote,etion District has no assets:.other-than
money in the farm of ca h, investments or de assts, or liabilities.
Further, the governing board of said dist.r.iat no lon er f'urnf sh.es
or provides services of substantial ibene 'it to residents and land-
owners within the district .
On March 5, 1969, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved
the resolution of Application sulbjeot to the following conditions :
(a) Contra, Costa County is designated as successor to the dis�.
solved district.
(b) After dissolution, any district. assets shall: be ;collected by
and credited to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection Dis-
trict .

At the conclusion of the hearing the Board of Supery cors
shall either disapprove or approve the dissolution in' accordance
with Government Code Section 56366.

not later than fifteen (151 days prior to the hearing date. The
