RESOLUTION OF APPLICATIONFOR APPROVAL TO
INITIATE: PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE OF ORGANIZATION
TO ANNEX WESTERN >'AREA OF 'COUNTY TO CONTRA
COSTA MOSQUITO ABATEMENT (DISTRICT 'NO. l
Tose Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This .Board hereby determines that pursuant to Division I of
Title; 6 (commencing with Section 56000) of the Government Code
of the State of California, it 'proposes to initiate proceedings
for the change of organization to annex certain territory to Contra
Costa Mosquito Abatement District No. 1. The exterior boundaries'
of the territory proposed to be annexed ' are !as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein.
The territory is inhabited.
The reason for the application for annexation is to provide
the said territory with mosquito control services.
It is hereby requested that the Local Agency Formation Commission
of Contra Costa County; take all necessary proceedings upon the pro-
posal contained herein that this Board of Supervisors be given
approval of its proposal to Initiate the change of organization to
annex the western area of the County to Contra Costa Mosquito
Abatement District No. 1.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of this Resolution of Application with the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on December 31, ` 1968, by this Board.
