HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011968 - 68-844 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Expressing ) Appreciation to Members of RESOLUTION NUMBER 68/844 the Contra Costa County � Mental Health Advisory Board. WHEREAS the County of Contra Costa, California has operated a mental health program under the "Short-Doyle" provisions of the State of California statutes for more than a decade; and WHEREAS the county mental health program has been', continuously expanded and strengthened with the objective of providing mental health care to all county residents requiring such attention; and WHEREAS a necessary and important component of the county mental health organization has been a Mental Health Advisory Board; and WHEREAS 1968 amendments to the State of California. statutes have required changes in the composition of said Advisory Board; and WHEREAS the members of the Contra Costa County Dental Health Advisory Board, prior to recent reorganization as required by law, were as follows Judge Norman Gregg Mrs. Maxine Johnson Mr. William Kretzmer Dr. Delbert Wilcox Dr. Muriel Robinson Dr. Charles Brisbin Supervisor Alfred. M. Vias; and WHEREAS the aforenamed former Advisory Board members have rendered extended and dedicated and outstanding service in 'behalf of persons needing mental health care; NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, CALIFORNIA RESOLVED that it extends to Judge Norman Gregg, Mrs. Maxine Johnson, Mr. William Kretzmer, Dr. Delbert Wilcox, Dr. Muriel Robinson, Dr. Charles Brisbi.n, and Supervisor Alfred M. Vias its sincere appreciation for their exemplary Advisory Board service, congratulates them for their successful efforts in bringing care to thousands of persons with mental Illnesses, and wishes for them the high regard and esteem of all Contra Costa County citizens as a measure of respect for their unselfish effort's in behalf of others. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of November, 2968by the following vote of the Board: AYES. Supervisors James P. Kenny, James E. Moriarty, Thomas John Coll, Edmund A. Linseheid, Alfred M., Vias.
