HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011968 - 68-795 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Mager of Establishment } of Underground Utility Zone No. } } RESOLUTION NO. 68/795 (San Pablo area) . } } PXSOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH UNDERGROUND UTILITY ZONE NO. �} The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County has adopted Ordinance No. 68-10 (Ord. C . 7801 et seq. ) which provides for the establishment of Underground Utility Zones in those areas of the County where the public health, safety, or welfare requires the removal of the overhead distribution system from the public streets , alleys or ways, and the replacement thereof with an underground system. It is the intention of this Board to conduct a public hearing to ascertain whether the public health, safety, or welfare requires the removal of the overhead distribution system from the public streets, alleys or ways of the unincorporated area along the entire road right of way of Road 20, extending easterly from the easterly line of the City of San Pablo to the easterly line of Lot 20 in the Rollingwood Subdivision (26 MB 916) as delineated on map copy of which is on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board. At 11:00 a.m. , on Tuesday, December 17, 1968, in the Chambers of The Board of Supervisors, County Administration. Building, Martinez, California this Board will conduct the said public hearing on the pro- posed establishment of Underground Utility Zone No. 4 in the area hereinabove described and at that time will hear the testimony of all interested persons for or against the establishment of the Zone and will determine if the public health, safety, or welfare requires estab- lishment of this zone and if Road 20 is extensively used by the general public and carries a heavy vol-same of pedestrian or vehicular traffic . The Clerk of this Board is directed to publish the text of this resolution at least once in the "San Pablo Democrat, " a newspaper circulated within the hereinabove described area, at least seven (7 ) days prior to the date herein fixed for the hearing. The Clerk is further directed to notify all affected property owners and utilities by mail of the time and place of such hearing at least ten (10) days prior to the date thereof.
