In the Matter of Changes
of the Assessment Roll RESOLUTION NO. 68/712
of Contra Costa County
WHEREAS;, the County Assessor having filed with this Board
requests for correction of erroneous assessments, said requests not
requiring the consent of the District Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is
authorized to correct the following assessments:
For the Fiscal Year 1968 - 1,969
It has been ascertained by audit of the assessees' records
that the assessees omitted to report the cost of personal property
accurately to the extent that this omission caused the assessor not
to assess the property or to assess it at a lower valuation than he
would have entered upon the roll were the cost reported accurately;
therefore, that portion of the property as to which the cost was in-
accurately reported should be entered on the roll as escaped property
in accordance with Sections 507 and 532 of the California Revenue and
Taxation Code, together with interest on taxes in accordance with
Section 5060 as follows,*
In Code Area 7001, Pel. No. 86-151-002, Diablo Valley Lumber
Hardware Co. , Inc. , should have the following escaped assessment of
Personal Property entered.-
For the years 1965-66 (7001) $1010
For the years 1966-67 (7001) 930
For the years 1967-68 (7001) 1.120
For the years 1968-69 (7001) 780
Assessee has waived equalization hearing.
In Code Area 66088, Pel. No. 218-110-007, Cryodry Corporation
should have entered the following escaped assessment of Personal Prop-
erty, For the year 1968-69 $1010. Assessee has waived equalization
hearing.
