Fraser. County ) RESOLUTION NUMBER 68/688 Coroner-Public 'Administrator. � WHEREAS Dr. L. H. Fraser, Contra Costa County Coroner- Public Administrator, passed away on September 30, 1968 and WHEREAS Dr. Fraser was a practicing physician in the City of Richmond. California for 40 years and was well known for his kind and effective professional attention to the sick and the disabled, and WHEREAS he was also well known for his successful work as one of the founders of the Brookside Hospital and one of the members of its Board of Directors, and WHEREAS his professional stature was reflected through membership in such groups as the Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Associ- ation, California and American Medical Associations, California State Coroner's Association, and California Public Administrator's Assoe - ation and WHEREAS Dr. Fraser was continuously interested and active In community affairs and held membership and served as an officer In a number of service and civic organizations; and WHEREAS Dr. Fraser served, with distinction as County Coroner-Public Administrator for some 13 years in which capacity he rendered outstanding service to the public ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, CALIFORNIA RESOLVED that it expresses deep regret on the passing of Dr. L. H. Fraser, extends to his wife and the other surviving members of hi s' f ami ly its sincere sympathy, hopes that his outstanding record of accomplishments will mitigate to some extent 'their great sorrow, and adjourns its official meeting on this date in memory of him. PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of October, 1968 by the following vote of the Board.: AYES': Supervisors James P. Kenny. 'James E. Moriarty, Thomas John 'Coll, Edmund A. Linseheid, Alfred M. Dias.
