WHETS, the County Assessor having filed with this Board
requests for correction of erroneous assessments, said requests not
requiring the consent of the District Attorney;
N04, THEREEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is
authorized to correct the following assessments:
For the :Fiscal Year 1968-69
It has been ascertained from records in the Assessor's
office and other evidence that exemptions were erroneously allowed
and that assessed value for such exemptions should be entered on
the assessment roll as escaped assessments in accordance with
Section 531-1 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code; and,
pursuant to Section 506 of the California Revenue and. Taxation Code,
interest on taxes should be charged at the rate of one-half of one
percent per month from the date such: taxes would have become delin-
quent had the assessment been correctly and timely enrolled:
In Code Area 1000, Pel. No. 071-012-005, Henry D. said
Ouida B. Horton should have entered escaped assessment of $1,004
.for the years 1966-67. Assessee has been notified of this assess-
ment.
In Code area 6402, Pel. No. 360-182. 003, Harold L. and Frances
A. Estabrook should have entered the following escaped assessments ;
For the years 1965-66 $10013 plus $250 .penalty in accordance with Sec.
504 of the R&T Code, for tt e years 1966-67 $1000 plus X250 penalty in
accordance wit`s. See. 504 of the R&T Code; for the years 196 '-68 $1000
plus 250 penalty in accordance with Sec. 504 of the R&T Code. Assessee
has been notified of this assessment and. penalty.
