RESOLUTION ORDERING ANNEXATION OF
PATNA DRIVE TC COUNTY SERVICE
AREA L-41, EL SOBRANTE AREA
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES''THAT:
On July 16, 1968, this Board adapted Resolution No. 68/470
initiating proceedings for the annexation of Patra Drive to
County Service`' Area. L-41. Resolution of application cation for the
proposed change In organization' was filed by the Bard of Super-
visors with the Executive Officer of the Local. Agency Formation
<;onimIssi.on on May 27, 1968. The reason for the proposed 'annex-
ation
nnex-ati_on Is to provide said territory with ''street lighting services .
on vai.4 3, 1968, the Local Agency Formation'' Commission
:approved the resolution of application, without condition,
declared the territory proposed to be annexeda, Inhabited and
assigned the proposal. Wignatien as "Patra. 'Drive Annexation to
County Service Area, L-41" The exterior boundary es of the
territory to be annexed are as described in ``Exhibit `'A" attached
hereto and by reference Incorporated herein,, and are located
entirely within Crura. Costa County.
The ,Board's Resolution No. 6 l47r fixed 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
August 1.:3 1968, as the time for a public hearing on the annexation
of the above said territory. Notice of said hearing was 'duly' given
by (1) publication in the "'E1 S:obrante Herald Bee Express" , (2) post-
Ing on the Board's Bulletin hoard, and (3) mailing notice to all
persons and counties , cities or districts , which had filed a written
request for special notice with the Clerk of the' Eoard. This Board,
at the time and place set for Bald nearing, >heard the determination,
of the Local. Agency Formation Commission read aloud, aid then called
for evidence or prates s as provided for by ,Government Cade Section
56 30 A and no protests were made orally 'or in writing by any i'person
or taxpayer.
This Board hereby finds that the proposed annexation of
Patna Drive A to County ',Service Area L--41 is In the best.
:interest of the people ' of above> said County Service Area This
Board hereby finds that the above said territory is inhabited and
that no land owner owning property in the above said territory, or
voter entitled to vote ' as a result of residing in or owning property
within said territory, filed a written protest. Thie Board hereby
orders Matra Drive as described in Exhibit "A" annexed to County
Service Area. L_41 without election and without being subject to
