s IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Adjusting Employee Compensation. } RESOLUTION NO 68/509 WHEREAS the Beard: on July 16, 1968 fixed. July 30, 1968 as the time for afinal hearing; and. decision on the matter of employee compensa- tion- ompensationg and WHEREAS public testimony has been presented. by proponents and opponents of salary ine reaees for county employees; and WHEREAS the Board. of Supervisors Administration and. Finance Com- mittee has submitted a written report this date making its tentative salary recommendations' final ones; and. WHEREAS the administration and. Finance Committee has this date also suggested that the salary of the Crockett Justice Court Judge be fixed. at $79356 ; that salary increases for Executive Personnel (Civil Service) be limited to five percent with the exce tion of the class of Fire Chief,' Group I. which class shall remain at 7+ as recommended; and. that the salary of the County Administrator be increased. by five percent; and muter; WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors has thoroughly considered. the NOW 9 THEREFORE, BE IT BY THE BOARD RESOLVED that employee compen- sation is adjusted. in accordance with the recommendations of the Admini�tra'- tion and. Finance; Committee in its written reports of July 23 and.
