OF VOTES ELECTED AS COUN ILMN OF SAID CITY
The Board: of Supervisors of Centra Costa County RESOLVES THAT.
A petition for the incorporation of certain territory entirely
within the County ,sof Contra Costa into a general law; city to be
knownas the City of Lafayette has been filed with this Board,
and all proceedings required by 3.aw' have been taken The election
for said incorporation> was held on Tuesday , 'July' 9, 1.968$ in
accordance with law.
Pursuant to this canvass of votes, this Board .finds that the
total: of the votes' cast for and age .nsIt incorpon is as follows :
For Incorporation 32719, votes
Against incorporation 269:6 votes
This Board further finds and declares that the votes cast In
favor of incorporation constitute a' majority or the votes cast at
the election,0and °declares that the City of 'Lafayette is duly
organized as an existing general law city of the State of Cali-
fornia with boundaries as set forth i in Exhibit ItAll attached_ hereto
and by reference incorporated h`ereltz.
Also 'pursuant' to this canvass of votes, this Board further
