Coder 56310, 56311, said Sanitation District 7-A ) 563129 56313) RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE IN ORGANIZATION TO ANNEX INTERLA N STEEL CORPORATION PROPERTY TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT 7-A ANL TO CONCURRENTLY ANNEX SAID PROPERTY TO IMPROVE14ENT DISTRICT NO, 1 OF SAID SANITATION DISTRICT '7-A The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOL THAT: A petition of.application for change in organization by annexation of Interlake Steel Corporation property to County Sanitation District 7--A was filed by the representative of said corporation with the Executive Officer of the Local 'Agency Forma- tion Commission on April 11, 1968• The reason for the proposed annexation is to provide said territory with sanitation services. On June 5. 1968, the Local, Agency Formation Commission approved the application upon the following terms and conditions (a) Boundaries of territory proposed to be annexed are amended and are to be as described in attached Exhibit a'A". {b} Upon annexation, the territory shall be subject to all of the applicable provisions of the district code. The Local .Agency Formation Commission declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited, and assigned the proposal designation as "Interlake Annexation to County Sanitation District 7-A.0 The exterior boundaries of the territory propose3d to be annexed are as described In Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference incorporated, herein. On June 18, 1968, this Board passed and adopted Resolution No. 68/398, a resolution of application to the Local Agency Forma- tion Commission for approval of an amendment to said Commission Resolution of Approval. On July 3, 1968, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the application to subject the said annexation to an additional. 1 RESOLUTION NO. 68/444 term and condition without further notice and hearing. The appli- cation was approved upon the following additional term and con- dition, entitled Subsection (e) as follows: (c) Upon .anneaation, said territory shall be concur- rently annexed to Improvement District No. 1 of County Sanitation District No. 7-A and subject to liability for payment of its share of principal, interestand any other amounts which shall become due on account of all or any part of any outstanding or then authorized but thereafter issued bonds of said Improvement Dis- trict No. 'i. At 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 1968, In the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Martinez, California, this Board x111 conduct a public hearing on the proposed annexation.' At the hearing the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayers for or against the proposed annexation will be heard, and any interested person desiring to make written pretest thereto must do so by written communication filed with the Clerk before the hearing. A written protest by an owner of land must contain a description sufficient to Identify his land, and a written pro- test by a Voter must contain his residential address. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Board of !Supervisors shall either disapprove the proposed annexation or order the annexation in accordance with Government Cade Sections 56324 through 56322. The Clerk of this Board is EM. BY DIRECTED to publish the text of this resolution once a week for two successive weeks in the "Pittsburg Post Dispatch" a newspaper of general' circulation published in this County and circulated in the territory wherein the proposed annexation is situated, the first publication to be made not later than fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date. The Clerk of this Berard is also directed to post the text of this resolution on the bulletin board of this Board at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date and such posting will con- tinue to the time of the hearing. The Clerk of this Board is FURTHER DIRECTED to give notice by mailing notice of hearing at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to all persons and counties, cities or d'istrictas, which shall have theretofore filed a written request for special notice with the Clerk of this Board.
