Code 56363, 56365, Contra Costa County } 56364, 56366) } RESOLUTION DISAPPROVING THE DISSOLUTION OF ISLAND FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On May 14, 1968, this Board adopted Resolution No. 68/314 initiating proceedings for the dissolution of Island Fire Pro- tection District, which is located in Contra Costa County . This dissolution had been proposed by the Board of Supervisors . Resolution of application for the proposed dissolution was filed by the Board of Supervisors with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission on April 2, 1968. On May 1, 1968, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the resolution of application subject to the following condition: "After dissolution, the present and future district assets be distributed as follows : 60 percent to County Service Area F-3 36 percent to County Service Area F-4 4 percent to County Service Area F-5. " Pursuant to Resolution 68/314 , this Board held a public hearing on the proposed dissolution at 10 :15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25 , 1968. Notice of said hearing was duly given by (I) publi- cation in the "Pittsburg Post Dispatch" , (2) posting on the Board 's Bulletin Board, and (3) mailing notice to each affected county, city or district, and the chief petitioners , if any, and each person who had theretofore filed a request for special notice with the Clerk of this Board. At said hearing, this Board heard the deter- mination of the Local Agency Formation Commission read aloud, and then called for evidence or protests as provided for by Government Code Section 56364 . At the conclusion of said hearing, this Board DISAPPROVED the proposed dissolution of the Island Fire Protection District . PASSED AND ADOPTED on June 25, 1968, by this Board.
