IN THE BOARD of SUPERVISORS

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE of CALIFORNIA
In the Matter of fixing the )
site and composition of the }
Economia Opportunity Council RESOLUTION No. 68/307
(Administering Board) for the )
Economic opportunity Program.
WHEREAS the Administration and Finance Committee has
recommended that the Beard of Supervisors fix the site of the Economic.
Opportunity Council at 39 with ane-third of the members representing
publics agencies, .one-third representing private organizations, and
one-third representing low income persons; and
WHEREAS the Administration and Finance Comittee has recom-
mended that the 39 member total be considered provisional in nature
pending Final hearings on reorganization of the Economic opportunity
Program; and
WHEREAS CAP Form 71, "Certification of Governing or Adminis-
tering Board," must be filed by May 1, 1968 under regulations
established by the Federal Office of Economic Opportunity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the composition of the
Economic Opportunity Council or "Administering Board for the, Economic
Opportunity Program is fixed provisionally as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors is AUTHORIZED, on behalf of the Board, to inform public
agencies and private organizations of their proposed inclusion on
said reconstituted Economic Opportunity Council, and request that they
accept membership on said Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of April, 1968, by the
following vote of the Boards
