HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011968 - 1968-267 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Acquisition and Exchange of County Property with Property Owner } (Taylor) for Ramps to Highway 580 at } RESOLUTION NO. 68/ 267 Willow Pass Road (W. 0. #4277) ) ) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT. Portions of County property described in the deed from Karen D. Fernandez, recorded September 20 , 1967 , in 'Volume 5457 , Official Records , at page 242 and in the deed from Lawrence Woodall , et al. , recorded September 25, 1967, in Volume 5460 of Official Records , page 260 , are no longer required for County use highway purposes ; and Portion of real property owned by Morrice D. Taylor, et ux. , adjacent to said County-owned real property, is required for the construction of freeway ramps at Willow Pass Road and State Route 680; The County Right of Way Agent reports that said excess portion of County property and payment of $2,000 is fair market value for said portion of adjacent property, and so this Board so funds and hereby approves this exchange of real property and payment of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) as part of that certain Right of Way Contract with Morrice D. Taylor and Eunice M. Taylor, his wife , dated April 16 , 1968 and approved concurrently by this Board pursuant to Government Code Section 25355; and This Board authorizes and directs its chairman to execute on behalf of the County a deed conveying to Morrice D. Taylor and Eunice M. Taylor, his wife , the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and directs the Clerk of the Board to deliver said deed upon compliance and performance by the grantees of all the terms or conditions of their contract to be performed concurrently therewith. The Auditor-Controller is directed to draw a warrant in favor of Title Insurance and Trust Company, Escrow No. MZ-127386-C in the sum of $2,000 for payment to Morrice D. Taylor and Eunice M. Taylor, his wife, for a goad and sufficient deed to Centra Costa County for the real property described in said Right of Way Contract . The deed from Morrice D. Taylor, et ux. , dated April 16, 195$ is hereby accepted; and the Clerk of this Board is directed to have recorded in the office of the Recorder of this County a certified copy of this resolution.
