of the City of Lafayette FIXING BOUNDARY AND POPULATION
(Gov. C. 34311., 34312 & 34315)
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 68/141, this Board today held
a continued and final hearing on a petition filed with it in 1967 ,
requesting that certain territory described therein be incorporated
as a general law city under the name of the City of Lafayette .
This Board finds and determines that the protests to the
proposed incorporation of the City of Lafayette do not constitute
fifty-one (51) percent of the total assessed valuation of land
within the territory described in the petition and that the lands
of the protectants whose protests are hereby overruled and denied
should be included in the size and shape of said city as hereby
established.
This Board defines and establishes the boundaries of the
proposed City of Lafayette as set forth in Exhibit "At' , attached
hereto and by reference incorporated herein, which boundaries do
not include any territory outside of the boundaries described in
the said petition.
This Board further finds and determines that the number of
inhabitants within the boundaries of the proposed City is approxi-
mately 25 ,000.
