E. iloriarty and Supervisor T. J. Coll) a recommendation of the County Board of Retirement that Section 31649-5 of the County Eraployees Retirement Law of 1937 be placed in effect in Contra Costa County„ and IHER `AS said committee in a written report to this Board, a copy of which is on file with the llerk of she Board, suggested that the recomtgendation of the County Retirement Board be approved so that members of the county employees retirement system entering the United States .Armed Forces from county employment might have the opportunity to receive uninterrupted county employment service credit and bridge the military service gap under conditions prescribed by law; NOW, T-HERLPORE, BE IT BY `.'RIS 30ARD RESOLVED that the report of the administration and Finance Committee is hereby approved and the provisions of Section 316 .9.5 of the County nployees Retirement Law of 1937 are rude applicable in Contra Costa County. PASSED ,AND ADOPTED on April 2, 1968, by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors Jaynes P. Kenny, James E. Moriarty, Thomas John Coll, Edmund _&. Linscheid, Alfred M. Dias. NOES: None.
