Appreciation to Ir. Walter W. Wolffs. ) RESOLUTION No. 63/174
^r�IEREAS the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County,
California has been apprised that SFr. Walter T. Wolffs has been
named Richmond r"'an of the Year under the Ian of the Year selection
pro�--ram of the -Richmond Junior Chamber of Commerce; and
-n ER-:,AS jdr. Wyolffs has been a resident of the City of
Richmond for half a century, has for many years conducted a
successful jewelry business, has served as director of the
{echanics rank of Richmond, and through his business activities
contributed to the economic well-bein# of the City of Richmond
and the County of Contra Costa; and.
`IER:!�A3 " r. Wolffs, in addition to his business affairs,
has found time to participate actively in the programs of the
Richmond ?boys Club, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, of which he
is a past president, and the national Association of Christians and
News, and has always worked energetically for the civic development
of the City of Richmond;

that it extends to lir . Walter Wolffs its sincere aappreciati:7n
for his contributions to the economic progress of his City and
County and for his voluntary and successful efforts in the interest
of community advancement, and compliments him on the distinction of
beim named Richmond Ian of the Year.
