Code 56310 , 56311 Service Area L-45 : 56312, 56313) RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE IN ORGANIZATION TO ANNEX OAK GROVE MANOR TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA L-45 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Change in organization by annexation of Oak Grove Manor, Ygnacio Valley , to County Service Area L-45, has been proposed to the Board of Supervisors by the Oak Grove Manor Improvement Association on October. 9 , 1967. Resolution of application for the proposed change In organization was filed by the Board ofSupervisors with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission on December 1967 . The reason for the proposed annexation is to provide said territory with street lighting services . On Pebruary 7, 1968, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the resolution of application, with the recommendation that the Board of Supervisors order the annexation subject to the confirm- ation of the voters , declared the territory proposed to be annexed as Inhabited, and assigned the proposal designation as "Oak Grove "Mano-r Annexation to County Service Area L-45. " The exterior boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed are as described in '!E1xhibit A" attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein. At 10 A.M. on Tuesday, April 30 , 1968, in the Chambers of the Board of Sunervl.sors ,, Administration Building, Martinez , California, this Board will conduct a Public hearing on the proposed annexation. At the hearing the testimony of all Interested persons or taxpayers for or against the Proposed annexation will be heard., and any' -4nterested person desiring to make written Protest thereto must do so by written communication filed with the clerk before the meeting. A written protest by an owner of land must contain a description sufficient to Identify his land, and a written Protest by a voter must contain his residential address . At the conclusion of the hearin'r-, the Board of Supervisors shall either disapprove the proposed annexation or order the annexa- tion subject to voters ' confirmation in accordance with Government Code Section 56321 . The Clerk of this Board is HEREBY DIRECTED to publish the text of this resolution once a week for two successive weeks In the "Contra Costa Times," a newspaper of general circulation Published in this County and circulated in 'the territory wherein the proposed annexation is situated, the first publication to be made not later than fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date . The Clerk of this Board RESOLUTION NO. 68/173 -1- is also directed to post the text of this resolution on the bulletin board of this Board at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date and such posting will continue to the time of the hearing. The Clerk of this Board is FURTHER DIRECTED to give notice by mailing notice of hearing at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to all persons and counties , cities or districts , which shall have theretofore filed a written request for special notice with the Clerk of this Board.
