E. Moriarty, Chairman Consider and report to the Finance T. J. Coll Hoard. of Supervisors on mutters related to county organization.. administra- tion and finance, includ- ing functions such as preliminary budget review, personnel, appropriation adjustments, insurance; and capital improvements. Public Protection and E. A. Linscheid, Chairman Consider and report to the Public Service J. E. Moriarty Board of Supervisors on Enterprises mutters related to court operation, police protec- tion,, fire protection, civil defense, agricultural and building inspection, animdal control and airport operations. P4xhlie Works J. P. Kenny,, Chairman Consider and report to the E. A. Linscheid Board of Supervisors on matters related to planning, road and building construc- tion and maintenance, flood control, and housing. Social. Programs T. J. Coll, Chairman Consider and report to the J. E. Moriarty Board of Supervisors on matters related to social programs, including public health, welfare, medical, probation, and veterans' services and economic oppor- tunity programa. RESOLUTION NO. 68AO Committee Supervisors Functions of Committee Public Education and T. J. Coil, Chairman Consider and report to the Recreation J. P. Kenny Board of Supervisors on matters related to schools, libraries, agricultural extension, parrs and recreation.. Revenue and Taxation E. A. Linscheid, Chairman Consider waw and means, J. P. Kenny including attention to legislative action, of financing county govern- ment operations,. programs, and projects and of dimin- ishing the property tax burden. BE IT BY THE BOARD FURTHER RS3OLVED that Supervisor A. M. Dias, Chairman, Board of Supervisors shall serve as alternate, when needed and to the extent practicable, to each Supervisor on said committee.
