State Outdoor Advertising t
Permits MSOLUTIOVI No. 67/884
MIUMLS the State Outdoor ,Advertising Act was recently amended to
provide that the State Director of Public Works shall., -when requested to do se
pursuant to a resolution adopted by the governing board off" a county or city,
require applicants .for Mate outdoor advertising permits to present a certi-
ficate
ficate of local zoning compliance; and
WHEMAS said amendment beemae effective on November 8, 1967; and
T�k'MzMkS this Board finds that it would be in they public interests to
request that the State Director of 'Public ",Forks require that applicants for
Mate outdoor advertising permits be required to present certificates of
compliance with Contra Costa County zoning regulations; and

sistency

3c � THEREFORE, BE IT RMECLVE that the Board of Supervisors of
Contra Costa County, State of Calif"Qrnia, does hereby request, as provided by
the Mate Outdoor Advertising Act, that the State Director of public Works
require that applicants for State outdoor advertising permits present a
certificate of compliance with the zoning regulations of Contra Costa County;
and
BE IT FURTHER WESOLVED that; the Director of Planning of the = on.tra
Costa County Planning Depart ent is .hereby designated as-the localoffi.cia,l
who shall. receive and process applications for certificates of zoning corapl.i.-
ance.; and
BE IT MITHER IMCLVE-D that this resolution shall be sent to the
Mate Director of Public Works with a copy to the Outdoor Advertising Section,
PASSED Abu ADOPTED" this 21st da, of November, 1967, by the following
