RESOLUTION GRANTING JURISDICTION TO THE C11Y COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CONCORD IN CONNECTION WITH ASSESS1 ENT
DISTRICT NO. 42 , CITY OF CONCORD, CONTRA COSTA
COUNTS', CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Concord,
Contra Costa. County, California, did on the 2nd day of October,
1967 , adopt a Resolution Requesting Jurisdiction from the
County of Contra Costa, California, under the provisions of
the Improvement Act of 1911, which proposed Resolution of Inten-
tion, attached to said Resolution Requesting .jurisdiction, pro-
poses the construction of improvements and acquisition of ease-
ments and acquisition of capacity to be made in Assessment
District No. 42; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Concord,
by its Resolution No. 3299 dial request the consent of this
Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, California, that
the public interest and convenience require the improvements
and acquisitions referred to in said Resolution No.- 3299 in
the manner therein set forth, and that all of the lands in-
cluded within the assessment district described in. said Reso-
lution of Intention will be benefited by said proposed improve-
ments and acquisitions; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors
of the County of Contra Costa hereby gives consent to the forma-
tion of said assessment district described in said proposed
Resolution of Intention, to the making of the improvements
therein described, and to the assumption of jurisdiction by
the City of Concord for all purposes in connection with
the formation of said assessment district and the making of the
improvements . The County Clerk of the County of Centra Costa
is hereby directed to certify a copy of this resolution and
transmit it to the City Clerk of the City of Concord, Contra
Costa County, California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Contra Costa, California, at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 10th day of October, 1967 , by the following vote,
to wit:
