HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011967 - 67-730 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Changes 3 of the Assessment Rall RESOLUTION No. 67/730 of Centra Costa County ) } WHEREAS, the County Assessor having filed with this Beard requests for correct=ion of erroneous assessments, said requests having been consented to by the District Attorney; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is authorized to correct the following assessments: For the Fiscal Year 1967 .- 196.$ It has been ascertained from the assessment (roll and from papers in the Assessor's office what was intended and what should have been assessed; and, therefore, pursuant to the revenue and Taxation Code, Section 4831, the .following defects in description and/or .form and clerical errors of the assessor on the roll should be corrected; and, further, pursuant to Section 531, property which escaped assessment through such clerical error should: be added to the assess-gent roll. In Code Area 5015, Parcel No- 377-100-016, Trademark homes, Inc. , are assessed 'with only land value due to omission of posting improvement value. This assessment should have entered thereon, for the year 1967-68, Improvement Value $4,700, making a total tax- able value of $5,700. Assessee has been notified of this correction, and equalization has been warred. In "ode Area 79096, Parcel No, 114-321-005, ,Ray J. and Shirley J. Schneider have been erroneously assessed. with Land Value of $2,550, Improvements $1,5100 Total $x.,060, due to error in entre' on property record. This assessment should be corrected to read, Land Value $1,510, Improvements X2,550, Total. �k,060. I hereby consent to the corrections and changes in the above resolution. R. 0.
