WHERFS, it appears from the records of this Burd, that the Contra
Costa County Building Inspector acting as the mEnforcement Agency" pursuant to
the provisions of Sections 17014 et seq., of Title VIII of the California Admin-
istrative Cade, having determined that the building located at 4 - 6t Street)

and said Building Inspector having posted said property with N t ce to Aba e
Nt sax and having notified the owner (s) of said property that it is unfit for
human habitation or occupancy, in the na:nsaer provided by law- as appears more
particularly from the declaration of the Building Inspector on file herein; and
WHEREAS, the said building has not been. repaired or removed as re-
quired by said. Notice to Abate Nuisance- and
WHEREAS, said Building Inspector thereafter posted said property with

ing before this Board for the owners of said property to show cause why the
building thereon should not be condemned as a public nuisance, and the Build-
ing Inspector having notified the owners of said property of said hearing in the
manner provided by law, as appears more particularly from the declaration of the

WHERFAS, the Board having consider the evidence presented by said Fes'
Building Inspector and all other interested parties, the following appears and
this Board now finds that said building is unfit for hit habitation or oo.
cupancy by reason of the following deficiencies which are hereby found to

1. Lack of water closet, lavatory, bathtub or shower in a dwelling unit.

3. Lack of adequate heating facilities. Violation of Uniform Housing Code,
Section H1001. (b) 6.
Saneral dilapidation and improper maintenance. `violation of Uniform Housing
Cade, Section H1001. (b) 13.
5. An attractive nuisa=nce which may prove detrimental to children. Violation
of Uniform Housing Code, Section H1001 (d).
6. By reason of abandonment. Violation of Uniform Housing Come, Section 203 (a).

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that said building is unfit for human habita-
tion or occupancy and is declared to be a public nuisance: and they owners there-
of are hereby ordered to abate said nuisance within 30 days after a copy of
this Resolution along with Notice thereof has been posted to said property.
BE IT FURTH& RESOLVED that it is the conclusion of this Board that
said building mot be reconstructed or repaired in a manner so as to comply
with the provisions of Article 8 Chapter 9 of Title VIII of the California
Administrative Code or the Contra Crista County Ordinance Coder and therefore
said building must be rased or removed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the notice posted to said property shall
specify than if said nuisance is not abated within the time allowed, said
nuisance will be abated by the Building Ihspe*tor of this County, and the ex-
pense thereof made a lien upon the land upon which said bsailding (s) are
located.
