HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011967 - 67-540 IN THE BOARD €F SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE CR CALIFORNIA In the Hotter of Adoption of RESOL TION Nm. 67/040 1966 Uniform Fire Code for WSC 1380 & GC 50022-3) Counter Fire Protection Districts NOTICE O 'URIC HEARING NG The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: This Board as the board of directors of the Bethel Island, Brentwood, Bri.ones,, Byrom, Crockett-Carquinez, Contra Costa County, Eastern Contra Costa., El Sohrante, Island, Oakley, Ori.nda, Pinole, and San Pablo Fire Protection Districts of Centra Costa; County proposes to enact an ordi.nannefor each of the aforesaid districts providing therein for the adoption by reference of the Uniform Fire Code, 1966 Edition, as compiled, recommended, and published by the California Fire Chiefs ; Asso- ciation so-ciation with changes, additions and deletions thereto as set forth in the proposed ordinance, and further providing for the adoption by reference of the secondary codes enumerated on Exhi- bit x i- bit "A" attached hereto and by this reference Incorporated herein. The proposed ordinance provides for the prevention and suppression of fires and conflagrations and for the protection and preservation of ;Life and property against the hazards of fire and conflagration with the aforesaid fire districts . On August 22, 1967, at 10: 15 a.m. , in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors of Contra Cresta, County, County Admin- istration d in-istraw'on Building, Martinez, California, a. public ' hearing will be conducted upon the proposed enactment of the said ordinance and at the said public hearing any Interested person may appear and be heard . Copies of the proposed ordinance, the 1966 Uniform Fire Cede, and the secondary codes described In Exhibit "A" are on file with the Clerk of this Board, and are open to public Inspection. The Clerk of this Board shall cause this resolution to be published pursuant to Government Code Section; 6066 in THE POST DISPATCH,H, a newspaper of general circulation in this county .
