Thereto for Activities at Buchanan
Field, Contra Costa County Airport }
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa. County RESOLVES:

THA'"' unless otherwise provided for by agreement, the following rates, charges
and regulations related thereto shall apply to activities and services rendered at
Buchanan Field, Contra Costa. County Airports
Section 1. Aircraft Storage and Parkin
(a) The following schedule of charges per space is applicable for uncovered
areas on pavements

CharZes for aircraft temporarily assigned to unpaved areas on a monthly basis shall
be reduced by $2.00.
Proration of charges for monthly tenants shall be computed at 1/'30 of the monthly
rate per day.
(b) Payment: Monthly aircraft parking charges are due and payable in advance
for each calendar month. Payment of visitor aircraft parking charges may be made to
the appropriate fixed base operator who arranged for the tie down on the County ramp
in accordance with his lease agreement.
(c) The Airport Manager is authorized, subject to the approval of the Board
of Supervisors, to establish such rates, rentals and fees for the storage of uncon-
ventional-type aircraft, hangared or in the open, specialized commercial operations,
and other concessions not covered by this Resolution.
Section 2. Storage Hangar Rentals.
(a) Rental rales for enclosed partitioned units shall be $37.50 per month
per unit.
(b) Rental rates for unpartitioned or open hangar units shall be $25.00 and
$30.00 per month per unit.
(c) Hangar rental is due and payable in advance.
Section 3. Commercial t��erat ons

(a) Basic operating fee: Persons presently engaging in commercial operations
pursuant to written authorization from the Airport Manager and whose aircraft is based
at Buchanan Field, shall pay a basic fee of $30 per calendar month limited to two
aircraft. For each additional aircraft, the fee shall be $15 per calendar month.
Said charges are in addition to aircraft parking or storage charge if applicable.

Section 4. Aerial Ap licators
(a) Definition; An aerial applicator is defined as a person, firm or
corporation ourning or operating one or more aircraft equipped for dispensing
materials by aerial application.
(b) Aerial applicators using Buchanan Field as a base ,of operations shall
pay ten dollars ($10.00) per day in addition to charges for parking if applicable.
Section S. Landing Fees
(a) Landing; fees shall apply for aircraft operations in which paying
passengers are enplaned or deplaned excluding Buchanan Field lessees.

(b) Unless credit arrangements have been made with the Airport, landing fees
shall be payable prior to departure ,from Buchanan Field.
Section 6. General Regulations
(a) Interpretation of these rates and charges shall be done by the County
whose decision shall be final.
(b) In addition to the right to sue for the collection of any rentals, rates
or charges provided for herein, the County shall have and exercise a lien to enforce
payment thereof for or on account of any aircraft or other property landing upon or
stationed at or upon said airport. Such lien shall be of the character and enforced
in the manner provided by the California Civil Procedure Code. No person shall remove
any aircraft, or other property, held under any such lien unless prior written
authority be given therefor to such person by the Airport Manager.
THAT the Board Order dated the 1st day of March, 1962, adopting and prescribing
activity rates and charges at Buchanan Field, Contra Costa County Airport is hereby
rescinded.
THAT the rates, charges and regulations specified shall be effective as of
July 1, 1957.
