in the Matter of Legislation
Proposed for Submission by i
Contra Costa County. RESOLUTION NUMBER
67/215
WEERFAS the District Attorney has suggested that the
County of Contra Costa submit for enactment by the 1967 session
of the California :tate Legislature certain items of legislation
which he believes to be desirable as amendments to existing
statutes; and.
WHEREAS these items of legislation include :
1. Legislation on immunity from liability for
various hospitals providing personnel and
facilities for taking blood samples; and
2. Legislation pertaining to punitive action
in cases of perjury; an
3. Legislation strengthening the position of
counties with respect to control of the
use of county highways; and
WHEREAS S Uhis Board of Supervisors has carefully con-
sidered the legislation suggested by the district attorney and
Las determined that said Legislation is in the 'gest interest of
the county and the general public;
, BE IT BY THE SOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE

Attorney is authorized to prepare the necessary covering bills in
draft form for submission to the 1967 Session of the California
Legislature ; and
. ..: _T BY THE BOARD FURTHER RESOLED that Contra Costa
County representatives in the California :tate Legislature are
urged to supporta said legislative items as submitted by the
District attorney.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of March, 1967, by the
following vote of the Band:
