Harr-ion being duly sworn: deposes and says, that at all times herein named,, he was and now is a citizen of the United States of Ameri- ca, over the age of eighteen years, and a resilient of said County of Contra Costa. That he is not, nor was he, at any times hereinafter named, a'party to the above en- titled proceedings, or interested therein, and that all of times he was, and now is, the co-publisher of the "Con- cord Transcript,"' a newspaper printed, published and circulated in said County of Contra Costa, and as such co-publisher, he had charge of all the advertisements in said newspaper.
