Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCES - 06131949 - 0492 ORDINANCE NO. 1+9 AN ORDINANCE LIMITING PARKING UPON ROLPH AVENUE IN THE TOW' OF CROCKETT, IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA, OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA NATE OF CALIFORNIA. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, do ordain as follows . SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with the directions of a peace officer or traffic control signa..l device, for longer than ten (10) minutes upon those portions of Rolph Avenue in the unincorporated Town of Crockett as Follows I Beginning on the westerly side of Rolph Avenue, Crockett distant thereon 265 feet southerly from the southerly line of Loring Avenue; thence south- erly along said westerly Line 60 feet to the end of said zone, when such places are indicated by "Limited Parking" signs or green paint on the curb along any such described spaces, and such green paint is lettered "110 Minute Parking" . The County Engineer is hereby authorized and required to designate such spaces by green paint lettered "10 Minute Parking" or by "Limited Parking" signs, as is most practical. SECTION 2: Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction .shall be punished by a fine not to exceed Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) , or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and i - prisonment. SECTION 3t. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration of fifteen 15) days from the passage hereof shall be published at Least once in the "� a news paper printed and published in the County of Contra Costa, State of California, together with the names of the members of the Board of 1. i T 1 Supervisor, voting for and against the same.
