The Burd of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, do ordain as follows.- SECTION ollows.SECTIOI 1 It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicleto park or stand any vehicle, except public carriers for hire, whether attended or unattended, upon the public highway here- inafter in this section named, or on that portion of said 'public highway, described as follows: Along the west side of the State highway, leading from Pinole to Crockett, known as State Highway Route No. CC-14-B, opposite the center lime stations of said highway, from 244+50 to 241+25, when such space is indicated by appropriate signs designating the use of said space as restricted to public carriers for hire only, The County Surveyor is hereby authorized and required to designate such space „by, appropriate signs indicating the use of said space for public carriers for hire only. SECTION 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by bath such: fine and imprisonment. This ordinance shall take effect thirty 30) days after the date pf its adoption and prior to the expiration ©f 'fifteen (15) days from the passage hereof' shall be published at least once in the a newspaper printed and published in the County of Contra. Costa,- Stats of California, together with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for or against the same. 1 The foregoing ordinance was passed and adapted by the Board of :supervisors of the County of Contra Costa at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 4th. day of March , 19 €9, by the following vote: AYES Supervisors - S.
