For the purposes of farther anal increments within the salary rangep the first day of the month following demotion on a permanent basis shall be deemed the employeets now anniversary date. (g) SALARY ON TRANF a An employee who is transferred from one, position to another position in the same class shall be compensated at the same step in the salary range as he previously received, or in case said employee has been receiving a salary above the maximum of the appropriate range., he shall con- time to receive the same salary. For purposes of further annual inerement within the salary range, his anniversary date shall remain the same as it was before transfer. (F) FREQU ;Y OF INCRIMMSt kept as herein provided,, increments within the range shall not be given more frequently than once a year, nor shall more than one step within ranges increment be given at one time. No provision in this section shall be construed as making the giving of increments mandatory upon the csomty. {G} CHANGES IN SALARY ALL ATION: An employee who has permanent status in a position of a class which is reallocated to a salary range above that to which it was previously allocated, shall be compensated at the same step in the new salary range as he was receiving in the range to which the glass was previously allocated. Or in ease such employee is already receiving a salary greater than the maximum step of the appropriate range, he shall continue to receive such salary or the rmaxion:. strap in the new range, whichever is the: greater. Provisional employees In positions of a class which is reallocated to a different salary ravage shall continue to receive the entrance step except as otherwise authorised under Section lit (A) of this ordinance provided, howevear, that any provisional employee who is receiving i�fa�''C��,�nK p f �ce�✓�. as.d more than the entrance step at the effective date of this ordinance4may be apPointead a at such. salary upon; certification for permanent appointment without ad jue3tment of salaries of other permanent employees in thea cla se 20, (h) SALARY ON POSITION RECLLSSIFICATIONs An incumbent of a position which is reclassified to a class whieh is allocated to the save range of the basic saw` schedule as is the class of the position before it was reclassified shall be paid at the same step of the range as he was receiving ander the previa classification. For purposes of further annual increments within the range the employee's anniversary date shah; remain the same as it was before the position was reclassified. 21. ALLOWANCE FCR ACTUAL AND NECESSARYMSES. ,actual, reasonable and necessary expenses shall be allowed all the officers, their deputies and employees of the county, in the discharge of their official duties, subject to such limitations as are elsewhere herein provided. Detailed expense accounts must be rendered on the first day of each mouth for the expenses incurred in the previous month. For traveling necessarily done by private automobile., they shall be allowed mileage at the rate of seven cents (7#) per mile, without any constructive mileage, and they shall be allowed their actual traveling expenses when traveling by rail. 12. FEES. Except as otherwise herein provided, in addition to the salaries,compensation and fees herein allowed., all county officers shall receive and retain for their own use and benefit such fees and compensations as are now, or may be hereafter,, allowed by law to be received and retained by them far their am use and benefit. 13. Saxes PAYIMT PROCEDMM. The salaries of all officers, deputies, and employees of the county herein provided for Wil be paid by the qty monthly, and where awma . salaries are provided, they shall be paid it equal monthly installments. Salaries shall be paid in accordance with a schemer to be established by order of the Board of Supervisors. it is provided, however, that at the election of than employee, indicated by written instructions of such employee, filed by him with the County Auditor, a portion of his salary may be paid on his behalf direct to his inarsror,, to cover the amount of the monthly premium on any insurance contracted for him under any group insurance plan arranged by his in conjunction with, any other emp10y'ess, All ordinAnces or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed,. 21.
