MOARGEMINTS ALTERATION REPAIR, OVING, COMM, ION, DEMOLIT ON$ OCC "C_Y. EQUIPMENT, USE, HEIGHT x AREA, PLUMBING, WIRING A[ MAINTENANCE b? BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES IN THE UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, BCH His BEEN INCLUDED AND ZONED UNDER THE MASTER PLANZONIXG ORDINANCE' NO. 382 FOR CONTRA COSTA. COUNTY; ESTABLISHING A BUILDING INSPEC- TION NSP -TION DEPART ENT; PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF COUNTY BUILDS INSPEC 'OR; PROBING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND CO=CATION OF FEES THEREFOR; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THE1=F; AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT' HEREWITH. " .._........_.._... _-- The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, does ordain as follows: SECTION I: Section III of Ordinance No. 385 of the County of Contra Costa is hereby amended to read as follows- "SEC'TION III. SCOPE OF THE ORDINANCE: The provisions of this ordinance shall: apply to all buildings or structures in the unincorporated territory of Centra Costa County which is included in: and zoned by the Master Plan Zoning Ordinance No. 382 of the County of Contra Costa, excepting the following: Any buildings or structures on property located within, zoned districts designated in the Master Plan Zoning Ordinance No. 382 as Unrestricted and/or Agricultural, except buildings and strut- tures on those lands in Unrestricted or Agricultural districts which lie within the boundaries designated in reoorded subdivision maps,, which maps are recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, States of California, after the 3rd. day of November, 1933s and which subdivision map 'bears on the face of the sheet of certificates, a certificate of the County Planning Commis cion certifying that such map complied with the tentative maps of such subdivision previously approved. by ,the County Planning Commis- sion. Any Agricultural, Horticultural, Viticul.tural, Floricul- tural and Animal Husbandry buildings or structures on property located within zoned districts designated in said baster Plan Zoning Ordinance No. 382 as Transition Residential Agricultural, All Industrial buildings or structures on property located within zoned districts designated in said Master plan zoning Ordinance No. 382 as Light Industrial and Heavy Industrial. The intent and purpose of these exceptions are in par- ticular to exempt all Agricultural and Industrial operations or, properties from the provisions of this ordinance. However, be it further provided that all Industrial build- ings shall abide by the minimum requirements of the State Health and Safety Code known as the Riley Act, Fart 3, Chapter 1, as amended September 15, 1945. The owners of any Agricultural or Industrial operation; or property may, however, obtain the services of the Building Inspector, provided they apply for permits and pay the fees therefor." Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, on the 5th day of January 1948, by the following vote** AYES: Supervisors S. S. R pleyt H. L. Cummiggs, Ray S.
