r ORDINANCE NO. X11 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PIUMINC UPON CERTAIN RG � iQ � RP S .. OUTSIDE OF INCORPOR&TED C The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra. Costa, State of California, do ordain as follows SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park or stand such vehicle upon any public highway or street located in Kensington Park, County of Contra Costa:, State of California, and hereinafter in this section named, and along and within that portion of said public highways or streets described as follows. The Easterly and. Southerly side of ocean View Avenue between Coventry Road and Colusa Avenue. The Southerly side of Oak View Avenue from Colusa Avenue to Ocean View Avenue. The Southerly side of Coventry Road from Ocean View avenue to BerkeleyPark Boulevard, The Northerly side of Valley Read, from Coventry Road to Colusa Avenue, The Easterly side of Windsor Avenue from Westm.in,ister Av- enue South to the end, of the street. The Easterly side of St. Albans Road from Westmiister Avenue South to the end of the street. The Southerly side of Wellesley avenue from Stanford avenue to Kenyon Avenue. The Easterly side of Cambridge avenue from Yale Avenue to Beloit Avenue. The westerly side of Arlington Avenue, commencing at the southeasterly corner of Lot 4, Block 2 , Uap of Kensington Park, re- corded 5-2-11, in Map Book 5, Page 1U3, Records of Contra Costa. County, and running thence southerly along the said westerly line of Arlington Avenue to the junction of theAlameda-Contra Costa Counties boundary line (this, in effect, is from the present south line of the Fire Department property south to the County linea when such spaces are indicated. by "No Parking" signs or reel paint on the curb along any such described spaces. The County Engineer is hereby' authorized and required to designate such space by red paint on the curb or by "No Parkin ff signs, as is most practical. 1. SECTION II: Any persons violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon convic- tion, shell be punished by a fine of not to exceed Two hundred Fifty Dollars ( 25C.UO) , or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION III: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage hereof, shall be published at Least once in TIRICM40ND DAILY INDEPENDENT' , a newspaper printed and published in the County of Contra Costa, Mate of Cali- fornia, together with the names of the members of the Board of Super- visors voting for and against the same. The foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted by the said Board of Supervisors of the said County of Contra Costa at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 10th day of November A.D. , 1947 by the following vote, to--wit: AYES: Supervisors -- S.
