A PROVIDING FOR TRE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PERSON FROM THE 'S VICE' OF THE STATE ,OF CALIFORNIA TO THE SERVICE OF THE COM OF CONTRA COSTA, AN15 IN' INC SUCH PERSOff IN THE COUNT MERIT SYSTEM The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa do ordain as follows: SECTION I: Ordinance No. 325 of the County of Contra Costa is hereby amended by adding thereto, after Section 10, the following: "SECTION 10'(A) : Any person having permanent status under the State Civil Service pct who is employed in a full time position in the service of the State of California, which position has been under the direction and supervision of any county officer, Board or Commis- r cion for six months and is transferred to the county service, may be appointed by such county officer, Board or Commission, without competitive examination to the position: in the county service 11 with full permanent status under the County Merit System. This ordinance shall take effect, and be in force from and after the ith day of .August, 1947, and before the expiration of fif- teen (15) days from the date of its passage, the same shall be published with the names of the members voting for and against the same in "Richmond Dgily ant" a newspaper printed and published in the County of Contra Costa, State of California.
