Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCES - 12081938 - 0271 ORDI NAAL Nt3._� AN oninyu ATUMMING ORDINANCE NO. 267 OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, do ordain as follows; Ordinance Number 267 of the County of Contra Costa is hereby amended by adding a new paragraph thereto, to be numbered "No. 24" and to read as follows, to-wit: The office of Stenographer to the Board of Supervisors is hereby created. The duties of said Stenographer to the Board of Supervisors shall be to aid and assist the Board of Super- visors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, in the per- formance of purely clerical duties, not now required by law to be per- formed by the County Clerk, as ex-officio Clerk of the Board. of Super:- visors,, the County Auditor or the County Surveyor, or either of them. The compensation of said: Stenographer to the Board of 'Supervisors shall. be fixed at One Hundred Dollars ger month, payable out of the General Fund of said county. The office of Second Stenographer to the Board of Supervisors is hereby created. The 'duties of said Second Stenographer to the Beard of Supervisors shall he to aid and assist the said Stenographer to the Board of Supervisors in the performance of her duties. The com- pensation of sa' Second. Stenographer to the Board of Supervisors shall be fixed at .• Dollars per month, payable out of the General Fund of said: county. This ordinance shall take affect and be in force from and after the day of , 1938, and before the expiration of; fifteen days after the date of its adaption., the same shall be pub- lished Stith the names of the members voting for and against tete same in the '� , a newspaper printed and published in the County of Contra Costa.
