HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES - 10171938 - 0270 r r ORDINANCE NO. 270 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDI- NANCE NO. 209 OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAV- EL OVER AND ALONG HIGHWAYS, ROADS, STREETS, LANES AND A.I.- LEYS IN THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, AND FROVIDI�dG A PE:N_ ALTS' FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF" AS AMENDED. The Board of Supervisors of the Coun- ty of Contra Costa, State of California, do ordain as follows, to-wit: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 209 entitled "An ordinance regulating travel over and along highways, roads, streets, lanes and alleys in the County of Contra Cos- ta, .and providing a penalty for violations thereof," passed and adopted by the l3oard of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, on the 5th day of October, 1931., as amended, is hereby amended by adding; thereto the fol owing: All that certain road known as "First: Street'' in the Town of Rodeo, commenc- in:, at its intersection with the State Highway and extending to Garretson Avenue. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the. 18th day of November, 1938; and before the ex- piration of fifteen days after the date of its passage the same shall be pi,:b- lished, with t1he names of the members voting for and against the same, in the Pinole Times, a newspaper printed and published in the County of Contra Costa. The foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, at a regular session of tyle said Board held on the 17th day of Oc- tober, 1938, by the following vote, to- wit: AYES: Supervisors Long, Cummings, Claeys, Buchanan and Trem.bath.
