AND t RE-' PEAL19d+ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS -OF ORDINANCES :IN CONFLICT THEREWITI-I. -The,j3oard of Supervisors of Con- tra Costa County, State of Califor- .nia, do.ordain as follows: Section & of.Ordinance No. 252 of the"County of Contra'Costa, is.here- r by amended to read as-follows,. to wit: 1-5. TAX- COLLECTOR: The Tax Collector, Three thousand Five Hun- dred'($3,500-)dollars per annum;pro- vided, that there shall be and there is'hereby allowed to the Tax Collec-. • for the following' clerks, deputies and employees who shall be appoint ed by.the Tax Collector and shall be paid salaries as.follows: One deputy tax collector at a ksalary, of Two r hundred .and twenty-fi'Ve ($225.00) dollars.per month; one deputy Tax Collector at a salary of one hun- dred and seventy-five-;($175.00) dol- lars per month, one deputy Tax Col- lector at a salary of One Hundred and fifty ($150:00) dollars- per month; one clerk at a salary of One hundred and thirty-five dollars ($135.40) per month; one. ate o- grapher-clerk at a salary of One hundred and twenty five ($125.00) r` dollars per month; and such copy- ists and clerks as the Tax Collector may appoint at a salary of three b and 50/100 ($3.50} dollars per day or four and 50/100 ($4.50,) dollars per day each; provided, however, that the total smourit of salary and com- pensation paid to such copyists and, clerks shall not exceed the sum of Six-thousand Five hundred seventy» five ($6,575.04)"dollars :per annum." TAX COLLECTOR: The Tax Qolle ctor, Three thousand Five Hundred ($3,500. ) dollars per annum; provided, that there shall be and there is hereby allowed to the Tax Collector the following clerks, deputies and employees who shall be appointed by the Tax Collector and shall be paid salaries as follows: One deputy tax collector at a salary of Two hundred and twenty-Five ($225.00) dollars per month; one deputy Tax Collector at. a salary of One hundred and. seventy-five ($175,600) dollars per month, one deputy Tax Collector at a salary of One hundred and fifty 4150-00) dollars per month; one clerk at a salary of One hundred and thirty«wf ive dollars (0135*00) per month; one stenographer-clerk at a salary of One hundred and twenty five (4125, 00) dollars per month; and such copyists and clerks as the Tax Collector may appoint at a salary of three and 50/100 33,50) dollars per day or four and 50/100 ($4.50) dollars per day each; provided, however, that the total amount of salary and compensation paid to such copyists and clerks shall not exceed the sung of Six thousand Five hundred seventys"f ive ($6675aOO) dollars per annum.
