It is essential that adequate relief be ©xtendod to such parsons and their dependents to prevent a condition of starvation and pauperism. Such relief can be affo37ded only t:y immodiate borrowing from. the Mate of California under the previsions of the Unemployment Relief Bond Act of 1933, a sum of eighty thousand & no//10CDollars ( 80000.00 �} . If the necessary funds are not obtained immediately under the provisions of said Act, the unemployed persons referred to hereinabove and their dependents will suffer great hardship, starvntion, less of health, and deprivation which would and does immodi€ately endanger the public peace, health and safety of the people of Contra Costa County.
