HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES - 04031933 - 0214 i 11 ORDINANCE NO. 214 AN*ORDINANCE REPEALING OR- DINANCE NO.1579 BEING AN OR- DINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE, MAUUFACTURE, OR UN- LAWFUL. POSSESSION OR TRANSPORTATION OF INTOXI- CATING LIQUORS, AND PROVID- ING PENALTIES FOR VIOLA- TION HEREOF. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa do ordain as follow-s: 8eat.ion 1. It is by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Con- tra Costa ordained and decreed that Ordinance No. 157, being an ordi- nance prohibiting the sale, manu- facture, or unlawful possession or transportation of intoxicating liq- uors, and providing penalties for violation hereof, be and the same is hereby repealed in its entirety. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the 4th day of May, 1933, and before the expiration of fifteen days after the date of itspassage the same shall be publishe-d with the names of t h e members voting for and against thq same in Vie Contra, Costa Standard, a newspaper print- ed and published in the County of Contra Costa. The foregoing ordinance was pass- -ed and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Con- tra Costa, at a regular session of said Board, held on the 3rd day of April, 1933, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: (Supervisors Long, Cum- mings, Stow, Buchanan and Trem- bath.
