i AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PROTEC-
TION OF DEER WITHIN THE
COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA
The Board of Supervisors of the
County of Contra Costa, do ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Every person who pur-
sues, hunts, takes, kills or destroys
any deer or any antelope within the
County of Contra Costa, is guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction
thereof, shall be punished by a fine
not to exceed Five Hundred ($500.00)
dollars or by imprisonment in the
County Jail for a term not to exceed
six months or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force thirty days
from and after its final passage and
approval.
SECTION 3. It is hereby ordered
and directecl that this said Ordinance
be published for the time and in the
manner required by law in the Daily
Gazette, Martinez Daily Standard and
the Contra Costa Courier, newspapers
of general circulation published in the
County of Contra Costa, State of
California.

vote of the Board this 4th day of
` October, 1915.
Ayes. Supervisors Knott, Hook,
Buchanan and Trythall.
Noes: None.
Absent: Supervisor Casey.
