HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES - 12151987 - 87-101 ps ORDINANCE NO. 87- 101 (Supervisors ' Salaries) The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows (omitting the parenthetical footnotes from the official text of the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance Code) : SECTION I . SUMMARY. Recently, agreements have been approved and related actions taken to increase County employee salaries approximately three percent for the entire 1987-88 Fiscal Year, and four percent for Fiscal Year 1988-89. This ordinance provides corresponding increases in supervisors ' salaries. SECTION II. Section 24-26.006 of the County Ordinance Code is amended to read: 24-26 . 006 Supervisors. Each supervisor, for service as such, shall receive a base monthly salary of three thousand one hundred seventy seven dollars, plus reimbursement for reasonable expenses necessarily incurred in the conduct of such office and such other benefits as are provided other elected county officers and management employees, such as the county administrator. Commencing July 1, 1989, each supervisor' s base monthly salary shall be thr0ae thousand two hundred thirty six dollars. C. §3752. ) SECTION III . EFFECTIVE AND OPERATIVE DATES. Pursuant to Government Code § 25123 .5 and Elections Code § . 3752, this ordinance becomes effective 60 days after passage (on February 14, 1988) , and within 15 days of passage shall be published once with the names of supervisors voting for and against it in the West County Times a newspaper published in this County.
