The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, does ordain as follows: SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of the County of Contra Costa is hereby amended by ' the addition of the hereinafter described zoning map. This map is added for the purpose of rezoning the territory shown thereon and does not change the zoning or the land use regulations for any other territory. The said map includes a portion of the territory shown on the map entitled "The Districts Map for the Clayton Townsite Area, Contra Costa County, California, Insert Map No. 3211. SECTION II. Section 3A of Ordinance No. 382 of the County of Contra Costa is hereby amended by the addition of a Subsection 457 at the end thereof as follows: Subsection 457. An amendment for a portion of The Districts Map for the Clayton Townsite Area, Contra Costa County, California, Insert Map No. 32. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the 25th day of October, 1963, and the same shall be published once before the expiration of fifteen days after its passage and adoption with the names of the members voting for and against the same in the "CONCORD TRANSCRIPT" a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the County of Contra Costa. Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, on the 24th day of September, 1963, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Mel F. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, do ordain as follows: i SECTION I. Section 2b (7) of Ordinance No. 278 is hereby amended to read as j follows: (7) Interim Residential District shall mean a district in which ' a) a detached single family dwelling is permitted on each lot or parcel and the accessory structures and uses normally auxiliary thereto. b) crop and tree farming is permitted. o) publicly owned parks and playgrounds are permitted. d) No signs shall be permitted except as provided under Chapter 4, Division 3,- Title 8 of the County Ordinanbe Code. All other signs may be permitted only after the granting of a land use permit. e) No use of any land, building or other structure, which use is other than single family residential, crop or tree farming, shall be established except after the granting of a land use permit. f) No building or other structure which is designed or intended to be used for any purpose other than single family residential, crop or tree farming, shall here- after be ereoted, constructed, moved or converted except after the granting of a land use permit. ' g) All single family residential lots shall be developed and maintained as per the provisions of the R-6 District as to size, dimension, height, yards and parking space as such provisions are set forth in Section 8142 of the County Ordinance Code. Exceptions to these requirements may be granted with a variance permit. SECTION II. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 278 is hereby amended by the addition of Section 3HH at the end thereof as follows: Section 3HH. An Interim Residential District as such district Is specified and defined in Ordinance No. 278, and its amendments, is hereby established for a portion of the unincorporated territory of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, said unincorporated territory being the Port Costa area, not heretofore covered by any zoning ordinance or amendment thereto. The interim land use district regulations for this area as set forth in Ordinance No. 278, and its amendments, are hereby established as land use regulations for this area. The map entitled "Interim Land Use Districts Map for the Port Costa Area, Contra Costa County, California" is hereby referred to and by reference incorporated herein ' and made a part of this ordinance. The territory covered by ordinance is set forth on the above named map and consists of unincorporated territory of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, lying in the Port Costa area.
