SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20630,to add one(1)permanent full-time Office Manager(JJHC) position at salary
level B8X-1369($4,133-$5;278) as recommended by the Interim Director of Human Resources.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Costs will be offset through the elimination of a vacant position. This action will result in no Net County Cost.
BACKGROUND:
The Office Manager position manages and coordinates office activities related to the fiscal, clerical, personnel and record keeping
functions in a departmental office; or plans, organizes and supervises the work of two or more functional units of clerks through
subordinate lead workers or supervisors;and performs other related work as required.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the Department will have insufficient analytical administrative support staff to perform the above
functions in the department.
