HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10072008 - C.99 TO: BOARD OF SUPERVISORS e~ Contra FROM: William Walker, M.D., Health Services Director By: Jacqueline Pigg, Contracts Administrator °' _ Costa DATE: September 17, 2008 � County SUBJECT: Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement#27-368-10 with River Counseling Center SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Patricia Tanquary) to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #27-368-10 with River Counseling Center, a unincorporated association, effective July 1, 2008, to amend Contract #27- 368-9, to increase the Contract payment limit by $20,000, from $60,000 to a new total of$80,000, with no change in the original term from March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. Costs depend upon utilization. BACKGROUND/REASON(S)FOR RECOMMENDATION(S): On April 8, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-368-9 with River Counseling Center, for the period from March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009, to provided outpatient psychotherapy services to Contra Costa Health Plan members. Approval of the Contract Amendment Agreement #27-368-10, will allow the Contractor to provide additional services through February 28, 2009.
