CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
This agreement supports one of Contra Costa County's community outcomes: "Families
that are Safe, Stable, and Nurturing." This outcome is achieved by providing safer and
more energy-efficient homes to low-income children and their families.
BACKGROUND:
Approval of this agreement will allow the continued provision of weatherization
services to program-eligible County residents.
This revenue source funds an inter-departmental agreement between
Employment & Human Services, and Building Inspection. The Building
Inspection Department fulfills the scope of work for this agreement by providing
weatherization services to program-eligible clients.
